1) Who are the founders of Allen Springs Villas and what is their vision?
While there are many condominium projects to choose from, Chuck Schipper and Rog Zylstra of Oak Crest Communities and Ross Luurtsema of ALTL, Inc. felt West Michigan needed something unique. They shared a vision of providing lifelong options to those who are looking to retire the worries of life, and desire to fulfill the passions and purposes unique to them. This outstanding partnership has a foundation of excellence of reputation in the community and promises to provide a long lasting relationship to those who live here.
2) What exactly is a Community built on Purpose?
Founded on the belief of God-given talents, abilities and callings to all individuals; Allen Springs Villas provides an ease of lifestyle that promotes greater freedom and opportunities for individuals to pursue and fulfill their own personal mission statement and purpose. Whether to the community, the family, the church or a business, it’s your journey and we’ll provide the tools to help you get there.
3) What ala carte’ concierge services are available and how much are they?
Services such as: Housekeeping, laundry, meals, travel arrangements, villa turn-down, flu shots, blood pressure checks are available on a per hour or per service fee basis. The beauty of Allen Springs Villas is that we make it easy for you to select the services that only you need, if and when you need them. Arrangements are easily coordinated with our on-site director.
4) Am I signing up to be a lifelong member of Allen Springs Villas?
Allen Springs can assist you for as long as you wish with absolutely no obligation. There are no upfront costs or an initial investment into a long term program or service. Should you sell your villa at any time, all proceeds are yours to keep. It’s really that simple.
5) Association Board & Dues – What is the cost and what do they include?
The association dues will be approximately $100 month and shall include: lawn maintenance and snow removal, upkeep and care of the common elements. Cable or internet providers shall be homeowner selected. Insurance on each villa shall be maintained by the homeowner. And, pets are always welcomed.
An additional $100/mo. shall be collected to maintain an individual account for future repairs of each villa. The association will be responsible to arrange all repairs of the exterior maintenance for you, and all repairs will be paid from this account. Any monies not used after ownership ceases, will be totally refunded.
6) Will the “Lodge” be available for my personal use?
We are excited about the offerings provided in our new facility called….”The Allen Springs Lodge”. It is our desire that you have access to the work-out gym, and feel free to book a family event or just gather with friends for coffee in the Allen Springs Lodge. Be sure to reserve the Lodge for special occasions with our on-site director. In addition, the beautiful in- ground outdoor pool is also available for your personal enjoyment.
